The entrance to the Quartier Général is through a pair of discreet curtains opening onto the street, a few metres from the Gustavia Post Office. Hervé Chovet, known on the square for Le Rivage and Côté Port, is back with a more intimate concept. A cosy lounge atmosphere, impeccable colonial decoration, and traditional cuisine with a Caribbean touch. On the QG menu there are some signature dishes from the shore (tagliatelle with shrimps and lobster, fricassée of curried shrimps), but above all there is a wide choice of tapas, meat and grilled fish. Remember to keep a little room for the often generous dessert.
