In 2007, the Loire chef Stéphane Lapierre (La Tour d'Argent, Lyon; Le Refuge, Saint Etienne) left the metropolis with his wife and settled permanently in the bay of Saint-François. In 2010 he acquired Le Zagaya, a brand that has been in operation next to the Marina for around thirty years. Since then, through his tasty and original cuisine, he has been promoting Saint-François market gardeners and fish merchants. This Creole restaurant in a wooden shack has been completely renovated and is a great place to stop for lunch, including with the family: the children can play nearby before and after the meal.
