Family owned for several decades, this restaurant is considered as a must by local gourmets. Today, Le Colibri is run by Joël Palladino, winner of the 2018 Gault et Millau Péyi Trophy for Martinique. The distance to get to the restaurant, a few kilometers away from the coast, is worth the effort ! The atmosphere is one of the warmest of the island and it'll definitely make you want to sit back and enjoy the dishes that have been lovingly prepared. The stuffed crab is particularly creamy and the blaff generously garnished with lightly cooked, perfectly seasoned sea urchin. Crayfish thermidor, grilled lobster, suckling pig, and homemade desserts that bring back joyous childhood memories, are all worth a try. The wine list is short but there is also a choice of good house cocktails and fresh fruit juices.
