As its name suggests, the restaurant is built inside an old schooner ("goélette" in French) stranded on the shore of the Saint-Laurent River. The kitchen built right on its side opens onto the dining room. A terrace on stilts goes right around it. The setting is truly original and the atmosphere friendly. From your table, you can enjoy the view on the Saint-Laurent River and the city of Albina, in Suriname, on the other side. During the day, you can observe the relentless ballet of pirogues crossing the river. The food is good, the service friendly and the music pleasant, so don't forget to book, especially in the evening.
