You'll find this dainty Creole cabin with its tropical garden in a little street in the center of Marigot. The owner, from a long line of restaurateurs from Guadeloupe, offers an authentic cuisine. The Creole dishes are well-executed, following his mother's recipes, like the black pudding, the stuffed crab, the avocado "féroce" (literally "fierce avocado") and the traditional colombo. If you're after more classic dishes, you'll find also flank steak and gambas. On Friday evenings, there’s a jazzy atmosphere and Saturdays are livened up by a singer, under the watchful eye of the beautiful grafiti on the garden wall. Booking in recommended on weekends.
